KIDS ART CLASSES
There are many benefits to children when making art and crafts. Not only does it help to promote creativity but it actually helps with Motor Skill Development. Art helps children to develop skills like holding crayons, pens, pencils, and paintbrushes. This can help develop their skills in holding utensils. There are other fine motor skills that art and crafts can help. Stringing beads and cutting using (child-safe) scissors and all this can all help with tasks such as tying shoelaces, fastening buttons, and more.

Art and Crafts are creative and this can help children to improve their self-esteem and self-expression. Therefore, it can help build their confidence. It also encourages them to develop skills like perseverance in order to complete a project. It can help children with patience as they have to wait for glue or paint to dry. Taking on an art project helps them to develop focus and improve their attention span.

Depending on the activity it can use multiple senses such as sight, sound, touch, smell and even taste (for cooking based crafts and activities). And it does not stop there, it can improve and develop problem-solving skills and be combined with other topics, including maths, to develop skills in other areas.
KIDS ART LESSONS
We offer children's art classes and lessons on a one-to-one basis, for groups, and even for open classes that anyone can join. Some of these lessons are one-offs and some run for several weeks. So, if you are looking for a unique way to keep the children entertained during lockdown, improve their art and craft skills, embrace their creativity at the weekend, or just do something other than playing games on their iPads, tablets, or games consoles, then why not get in touch to book some art classes.

We create lessons for different age ranges, offer different classes, can come up with ideas for groups mixed with children of different ages and skill levels.

The art lessons for children are £15 per hour, groups are £20 per hour + £5 per additional child, our open classes are priced individually in our Open Art Courses
CHILDREN'S ART & CRAFT PARTIES
Looking for something different? Want to host an online party for your child during lockdown?
The current situation has put us in lockdowns. It seems like a forgotten consequence, but how do you have a party for your children during the pandemic?

We offer online Children's Art & Craft Parties. When things get back to some normality we will offer these face-to-face again in our local area of Essex (Colchester and surrounding areas).
​
An online party utilises a webinar-based platform that means you can get your child and their friends together from the safety of their own homes. The only thing that will take some planning is making sure everyone has the materials to take part in the art and craft activities.
You have a few choices when it comes to the activities. If there are activities that you want to include then just let us know. Perhaps you want the party to be themed? Superheroes, princesses, musical, etc. Just tell us. Maybe you just aren't sure what to do and would like us to deal with coming up with the ideas, plans, activities, themes, and everything else. Not a problem. We will happily discuss everything with you and run through plans prior to the party and make sure you are happy with everything that we have planned.

Children's Parties are charged at £5 per child per hour, with a minimum booking fee of £20.
